1. Send Prescription To Pharmacy
The pharmacy will check to see if the prescription needs a prior authorization. You can also send records ahead of time with the request. If you do we will not need to contact you later for records.
2. Send Records
If we need records we will contact you by fax for medical records. You can send physical records (e.g. chart notes, labs) or complete one of our questionnaires. See the medical records article for more information.
3. Outcome Reported By Fax
Once we have an approval or denial the outcome will be reported to you by fax. You can also register to check the status online and still send everything by fax.
