Once the patient's insurance has informed us  that the request has been approved it will enter this status.

Claim Goes Through

You will want to check to make sure the request goes through. Sometimes it can be approved in error or for a different quantity or dosage form.

Claims Goes Through

  1. Send the prescription using your preferred method.
  2. Mark "Prescription Sent" using the options on the right.
  3. Recommend adding a comment if not sent by e-prescribe (so the pharmacy does not mark as prescription needed too quickly).

Cancel Request

  • Mark "Cancel" using the options on the right.
  • Add a comment if you would like the pharmacy to relay a message to the patient.

If the claim goes through with no issues you can:

    • Select the "Close" option on the right. This will move the request from "Open" to "Closed" on the main menu.
    • The case will close automatically after two days if there is no activity.

    Claim Still Rejects

If the claim still do not go through you will want to first contact the pharmacy help desk to make sure it is not:

    • A days supply issue.
    • Quantity billed (e.g. billed as 60 grams instead of 1 tube).
    • Pharmacy network issue.
    • Refill too soon.
    • Correct dosage form being run (e.g. syringe vs autoinjector).

If none of these are the cause of the rejection you will want to:

    • Add a comment that there is an issue with the claim.
    • Adding a screenshot of the rejection will help us deduce what the like cause is more quickly, but its not required.
