Pharmacy Created Requests
1. Pharmacy Creates Request
The pharmacy will check to see if the prescription needs a prior authorization. You can also send records ahead of time with the request. If you do we will not need to contact you later for recordssubmits the information need for the request (see article for more information).
2. We Contact the Office
If we need records do not have enough information for the request we will contact you online for medical records. You can send physical records (e.g. chart notes, labs) or complete one of our questionnaires. See the medical records article for more informationthe office for the needed information.
3. Outcome Reported Online
Once we have an approval or denial the outcome will be reported to you on the portal.
Provider Created Requests
1. Provider Creates Request
The provider creates and submits the request online.
2. Pharmacy Reviews Request
The pharmacy checks to see if an authorization is required (see article for more information).
3. Outcome Reported Online
Once we have an approval or denial the outcome it will be reported to you on the online portal.
